My Spring Break Experience (March 2016)

Eight long days where I felt at the same time young again and terribly old. Whereas these pictures of spring break would probably have fallen into the lap of a 20-year-old guy, me as the only 58-year-old Methuselah amongst all these spring breakers between 18 and 25 years of age had to work hard for every single picture, expose myself to astonished or compassionate glances and accept one humiliation or two. A lesson learned that you as an artist and photographer should stick to those themes which fit into your own reality, phase of life and not least to your personality or artist personality, respectively.
